Dr. Bryan Vyverberg, MD
Double Board Certified Psychiatrist
Dr. Bryan Vyverberg has been practicing psychiatry for over 20 years. He is board certified in both child/adolescent psychiatry as well as adult psychiatry. He is originally from Michigan, but has proudly found his home in the Mississippi Gulf Coast. He graduated from University of Detroit Summa Cum Laude and went on to complete Medical School at Wayne State University School of Medicine. He later served in the Air Force where he retired from Keesler Air Force Base as a Colonel.
During his service, Dr. Vyverberg practiced psychiatry around the world, serving our country as well as our military and their families. After retiring from the military, Dr. Vyverberg started his private practice and is continuing to serve his community as a physician at Gulf Coast NeuroSpa. He specializes in treating depression, anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder, and other disorders.
Dr. Vyverberg believes in using innovative and evidence-based treatments and is constantly evolving his skills as psychiatry evolves. Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) is one of the cutting-edge, effective treatment practices that Dr. Vyverberg has adapted. He is a TMS certified physician.
He truly enjoys his career in psychiatry and this is evident in his commitment to adopt new interventions and remain on the cutting-edge of psychiatry in order to best serve his patients.
Scott Turner, PMHNP-BC
Board Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner
Scott Turner is our Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner and founder. Scott is a Mississippi Gulf Coast Native. He graduated from University of South Alabama Cum Laude and completed his graduate nursing program at University of Southern Mississippi. After graduating, Scott served as the staff Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner in outpatient behavioral health, high-intensity inpatient psychiatry, a residential treatment program, and as a hospital consultant-liaison under the guidance of the Deputy Chief of Staff for Behavioral Health. Scott has served the Mississippi Department of Mental Health as a Staff RN at Specialized Treatment Facility, and later as the sole Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner. He has additionally served the Gulf Coast Veterans Health Care System. These experiences have contributed to Scott’s thorough understanding of every level of intensity and care in behavioral healthcare. He takes pride in having the opportunity to give back to his hometown community by rendering psychiatric services locally. Scott began practicing nursing in 2007. He cares deeply about his patients’ treatment journey and feels it is important to spend dedicated time with each patient he sees. Scott believes that building a bridge between medical providers and mental health providers is critical to sustainable treatment. Subsequently, Scott takes the time to effectively coordinate care between his patient’s providers when needed in order to best treat the whole person.
Scott is certified in administering Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation and is motivated and driven to continue expanding his scope of practice to include any evidence-based treatment modalities on the horizon of psychiatry.

Stephanie
Director of Operations
Stephanie is our administrative director and TMS coordinator. She earned a Bachelor’s of Science in Psychology from University of New Orleans in 2015. She has been working in healthcare administration since 2012. Stephanie is dedicated to maintaining a healing environment, starting with each patient’s very first contact with our office.
Stephanie has been a certified TMS technician since 2017. She assists our patients in navigating TMS insurance coverage and in getting started with TMS. “After witnessing first-hand the profound impact that TMS can have on a person’s well being and quality of life, I knew I wanted to be a part of spreading awareness of and accessibility to this treatment.”
